Jose Natividad Gonzalez Paras
Nuevo Leon, Mexico

Native from Monterrey, N.L., Mexico. He is a Graduate at Law by the Nuevo Leon Autonomous University; he obtained a Master's Degree in Public Administration in the International Institute of Public Administration in France, as well as a Ph.D. in Political Science at the University of Paris.

He has been a teacher at Nuevo Leon Autonomous University; the Colegio de Mexico; the Faculty of Political Sciences and Public Administration of the Autonomous National University of Mexico, as well as the Ph.D. in Law at the UNAM. He has diverse publications and essays on Public Administration, Political Sciences and Foreign Policy.

As a government officer, he worked as Organization and Institutional Development of the Presidency of the Republic General Director; as Administrative Studies of the Presidency of the Republic General Subcoordinator; Secretary of State for the Government of Nuevo Leon; Director of Staff of Foreign Policy of the Presidency of the Republic; Federal Deputy for the First District of Nuevo Leon and Secretary of the Great Commission of the Chamber of Deputies in the LVI Legislature; Undersecretary of Political Development of the Secretary of Government; PRI party candidate for the Government of Nuevo Leon; he was President of the Directive Council of Latin American Center of Administration for the Development (CLAD) and President of Public Administration National Institute Directive Council (INAP), Senator of the Republic (licensed) 2000-2006. At present time he is the Constitutional Governor of the State of Nuevo Leon, for the term 2003-2009.
